Try another posting, and this time create a link to a site of your choice.

Create a third post that has a picture in it. (you may have to play a bit to do this,  I'm still learning)

Getting started...Really

Let's try Blogger as an option though we will look at Tumblr as well (VERY basic).  You may prefer to work on Wordpress or edublogger.  Look around.  Try things out.  Experiment.  Try to do the same 3 or 4 things on each platform and see what you prefer.

What's a Blog

Blogs are an easy, technologically enticing way to encourage student writing and reflection.  Because blogs offer the ability to link images, video and related sites,  students engage in expansive ways with classroom content.  Blogs are also an easy way to present course information and log responses.

This workshop is designed for the real beginner and will offer a chance for you to create your own blog.

Getting Nervous :-)

Okay, so I'm supposed to present on this tomorrow and ... 

you know what? I'm nervous.

So be patient and lets learn about this together.

I have poked around a bit, and looked for sites that we can use to get started or to go to the next level.

that win. Click on it, take a look and see what you think. Perhaps, if you nose around a bit you'll find

So you want to blog?

So I've been looking around at some different blogs like Vicky Davis's Cool Cat Teacher and others that I've made links to in my delicious account, looking for ideas to share with you.

I noticed that the Cool Cat Teacher site had a Most Valuable Posts section on the right side of the page with the first post being 10 Habits of Bloggers that Win.  Take a look at them and see whether you agree.
